ST. LOUIS, Mo (KMOV.com) – One person was killed and another injured after being struck by a vehicle in downtown St. Louis after a Blues game Tuesday night.

A vehicle struck a man and woman around 10:12 p.m. near 16th Street and Olive Street. Police say the two victims appeared to have been leaving the Blues hockey game when the accident happened.

Katherine Dubis, 23, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

Paramedics transported the 25-year-old man to a local hospital where he is listed in critical, but stable condition.

The driver of the car, a Pontiac G-6, told police she did not notice the pedestrians until after she struck them. The car involved in the accident stayed on the scene and sustained damage, according to police.
