(KMOV.com) – Madison County authorities said Corry and Torry Williams are sought in connection with the theft of a gun belonging to a retired officer.

Police said suspects broke into the officer’s car in Venice and stole his badge and gun. Authorities do not know if the Williams brothers are responsible for the heist. Some of the items were recovered in an unrelated raid.

“Once we made entry and located the suspect, we found part of the stolen property in the residence being the I.D and the badge,” said Detective Michael Renth with Madison, Illinois Police.

Police told News 4 the investigation has led them to Torry and Corry’s mother, Tunisia Williams. Tunisia turned herself in and may face theft charges for allegedly stealing the badge. She posted bond and has been released. Officers are still searching for the stolen gun.

Authorities said a homemade music video is helping them in their search for the brothers.

“On YouTube, we were able to locate the residence where they currently live. On the video, we observed her two sons with a stolen gun,” Renth said.

Police said the video shows the Williams brothers and others flashing the stolen gun.
