(KMOV) — Lambert International Airport is showing off its newly remodeled restrooms, the first part of the largest ongoing interior renovation in the airport’s history.
The restrooms in Concourse A, near gate 8, were remodeled featuring bright white counters, new flooring and colorful walls.
Eventually all restrooms in Concourse A, C and Terminal 1 will be renovated. This is all part of the $50 million in projects for Phase II of the Airport Experience Program which will include these concourse improvements new lighting, new ceiling treatments, full tile flooring through the main corridors, new signage and art displays.
Construction on these projects is scheduled through late 2012.
