(KMOV) – Some residents at a north St. Louis County apartment complex are out of a home.
Rainwater leaked through the roof of the Canfield Green building, destroying property, clothes, furniture and electronics. Some units will even have to be condemned as a result of extensive damages.
Residents believe repairs to the roof of the complex is the reason why water leaked into the building.
Other residents throughout the St. Louis area were also forced out of their property due to flooding.
Some people say that the Metropolitan Sewer District should cover any property damage caused by rising water, but right now, city officials are still determining who should take the blame.
