I met some of the creative folks over at Geile/Leon Marketing Communications in Clayton today. They created a series of talking skeleton ads for Metro Imaging. The ads are humorous (and humerus... ha, ha) and the the ad-makers and their client decided to really go for it and get their ad on during the Super Bowl.
You will see the 15-second spot before the start of the second half. You can also watch it right now at www.geileon.com/metroimaging.
Both offices are buzzing with excitement that their ad is going to be watched by so many people. Now it's just a local ad, but still... what a spot.
National 30-second Super Bowl ads cost around $2.5-million to $2.8-million. A local 15-second ad is going to be way less. But how much less, we can't say. I don't think the suits upstairs would want that.
The point is a local company created something they deem Super Bowl worthy. You be the judge Sunday on if it stacks up to the national competition.
