Multiple people shot outside St. Louis night club

(KMOV) – Multiple people are recovering after a shooting outside a St. Louis night club.

The shooting happened around 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning at the Imperial Palace night club in the 2500 block of North Grand.

Police say an altercation occurred outside the club when two 27-year-old black male suspects assaulted and shot two men standing outside the club. One of the suspects was struck in the abdomen. The suspects fled, but were later taken into custody by police a short time later.
Police say a total of three people were shot and another injured. One victim is a 28-year-old black male. He was shot in the leg three times and is listed in critical condition.
Another victim, a 44-year-old black male, was shot once in the leg and is listed in stable condition.
A third victim, a 39-year-old black male was punched in the head several times.
The security guard, a 50-year-old black male, was not shot, but was punched in the face several times. He told police he drew his weapon and shot at the ground when the suspects started firing.
Charges have yet to be filed in this case.
