(KMOV) -- A home invasion in north St. Louis ends with one person dead and authorities say the 64-year-old homeowner who shot the intruder was justified.
Police say that around 4:00 a.m. on Monday, a suspect kicked in the front door of a home in the 1900 block of East College.
According to police, the noise woke the homeowner who then shot and killed the would be robber.
Authorities tell News 4 that thieves have broken into the house before.
One person was taken away in a police car.
Officers are still looking for two female suspects who fled the scene.
