Two students robbed at gunpoint on SLU campus

(KMOV) -- Police are investigating a robbery on the St. Louis University campus.
 
According to a SLU e-mail alert, the robbery happened around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday in an alley behind Iggy’s, a restaurant on campus located in the 3700 block of Laclede Ave.
 
Two students were reportedly unloading their car in the alley when two suspects approached. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the students.
 
The suspects took one of the student’s keys and the other student’s wallet and ran from the scene.
 
SLU public safety officers saw two possible suspects run to a vehicle on Laclede and take off.
 
They were last seen in an Oldsmobile Alero with an Illinois license plate of K168139. They were headed northbound on Spring from Page Ave.
 
One of the suspects is described as a black man in his early 20’s, around 5’7” tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and was armed with a handgun. The other suspect is described as a black man also in his early 20’s, around six feet tall and 170 pounds. He is described as having a dark complexion and was wearing a black leather jacket.
 
Anyone with information in this case is urged to call police.
