(KMOV) -- Metro will begin unveiling a long-range plan for public transit on Tuesday night.
The plan won't go very far if St. Louis County voters refuse to pass a half-cent sales tax increase in April.
Voters didn’t pass the tax the last time it was on the ballot, back in November of 2008.
Metro hopes to generate enough money to improve service and return service to routes that were done away with last year.
The first meeting on Metro’s plan is Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at the main library on Lindbergh.
