(KMOV) -- Identity thieves have found a new way to get your personal information.
The Better Business Bureau says con-artists are calling people claiming to work for the court system.
They say they are calling to tell you that you missed jury duty.
To make sure they're calling the right person, they ask for your personal information including social security number and date of birth.
Court officials say they never ask for this information over the phone and urge you to tell your local authorities if you get a call like that.
