ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- The Ferguson-Florissant School District announced six makeup days due to their delayed start of the school year.
The Ferguson-Florissant Board of Education approved six school make-up days for students, maintaining the District’s planned 177 days of instruction. Students will now attend classes on the following dates:
Tues., Nov. 4 (full day); Fri., Dec. 19 (half day); Fri., Jan. 16 (full day for elementary, early release day for secondary); Friday, April 3 (full day for elementary, early release day for secondary); Mon., April 6 (full day) and Fri., May 29 (half day).
If additional days are missed during the 2014-2015 school year, the make-up days will occur during the first and second weeks of June. For this reason, families are encouraged to avoid making plans that may interfere with school in early June.
