(HockeyStL) – The hold-out is over as the St. Louis Blues and forward Jaden Schwartz agreed to a two-year deal Saturday, according to the club.

Schwartz, 22, had 25 goals and 56 points in 80 games for the Blues last season and he had yet to report to training camp. According to the Blues, he’s expected to be on the ice on Monday. Saturday evening, Schwartz tweeted out excitment to get back on the ice.

According to TSN’s Bob McKenzie, the deal is reportedly worth $4.7 million.

The Blues drafted Schwartz with their first round pick, 14th overall, back in 2010. Last season was his first full season in the NHL.

The announcement came Saturday afternoon prior to the Blues preseason game against the Dallas Stars in Kansas City.
