Police investigating double homicide in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Police are investigating after a double homicide in north St. Louis Thursday night.

Ali Goodin, 34, of the 8100 block of Broadway, was found unresponsive in the 4000 block of Cote Brilliante around 10:00 p.m. with gunshot wounds to the head, chest, elbow and buttocks. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

An unidentified 28-year-old man was found dead on the front porch of a vacant home a short distance away in the 1800 block of North Sarah. Police say he suffered gunshot wounds to the abdomen, hip and buttocks.

Police say the investigation revealed three men were observed fleeing the scene on foot after numerous gunshots were fired.

The shooting happened hours after a News 4 crew was in the neighborhood speaking with residents who are working to end violence to the area.

The investigation is ongoing.
