ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – A 23-year-old man told police he feels he was an unintended target during a shooting in north St. Louis Wednesday night.

St. Louis County Police said the man was standing outside a market around 8:00 p.m. in the 100 block of Sheply when a dark colored four-door sedan drove up and the occupants of the car began firing shots at him.

The victim was hit in the ankle with a bullet and was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
