(KMOV.com) – The Department of Justice held a meeting Wednesday night in Ferguson to address questions concerning the investigation into the Ferguson Police Department and the theme of the meeting revolved around transparency.
The crowd gathered at St. Louis Community College in Florissant as they heard from the Civil Rights Division who is leading the investigation into the police department.
They wanted people to know where they were in the investigation and give another chance for people to sit with a federal representative to tell their own troubling stories they’ve had with police.
The DOJ also recommended that Ferguson Police wear name plates.
Officials said it could take several months before a final report is made
