ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Police in St. Louis are searching a woman shown in newly released surveillance video related to homicide and car fire from earlier in the month.
The body of Darnell Robinson, 24, was found inside a burned car at the intersection of Madison and North 20th Street in north St. Louis on Sept. 4. Police said Robinson was found with a gunshot wound to the head.
In the surveillance video, a black SUV with Illinois plates drives across the screen, pulls into an alley and a woman in a white tank top gets out. In the next shot she is seen walking with a gas can. The next time the woman is seen, she is opening the right passenger door of a white car, seconds later it catches fire. The last time the woman is seen is when she is running down an alley.
It is currently unclear if the shooting and car fire are related.
