St. Charles police searching for robbery suspect

ST. CHARLES, Mo. ( – St. Charles police are asking for help locating a man accused of robbing a Moto Mart on Friday in St. Charles, Missouri.

Police say a man entered the gas station in the 1000 block of South Fifth Street at 9:07 p.m. and asked the clerk for cigars, which were located behind the counter. The clerk rang up the sale and when the register opened the suspect lunged over the counter, pushed the 31-year-old clerk away and took cash from the register.

Authorities say the suspect exited the store and fled the scene on the foot.
