TROY, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- The principal of William Cappel Elementary School in Moscow Mills, Missouri was charged Thursday with ten counts of sexual contact with a student.
According to a news release from the Troy Police Department, a 17-year-old male student told police he had engaged in sexual contact with Phillip Brock II, 37, since May of 2014. The student said all of the occurrences were video recorded. The student also reportedly told police there have been over twenty occurrences of sexual contact between he and Brock, one as recent as September 14.
Police said a search warrant was executed at Brock's home and several items were seized. Some of those items were sent to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Lab in Jefferson City and computer related items will be sent to the St. Charles County Cyber Crime Task Force for analysis, according to Troy Police.
Brock was placed on placed on paid administrative leave, per the school district's policy. He is being held on $500,000 cash only bond.
Brock coached soccer for the Troy R3 School District, as well as for non-school related teams, police said.
