(KMOV.com) – Police said an officer was injured after by broken glass during a foot pursuit in south St. Louis Wednesday night.
Police said an officer was called to the 5000 block of Virginia for a suspicious person. According to authorities, the suspect, a 32-year-old, ran into an apartment building and slammed the door causing glass to shatter which then cut the officer’s arm and left a deep laceration.
The officer was taken to a local hospital in stable condition. The suspect was arrested.
