ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Police continue to search for the people responsible for shooting two men in the 500 block of Chambers in Riverview Sunday morning.

Police said the men, ages 19 and 20, were walking down the street when an unknown white vehicle pulled up and the people inside opened fire.

“I felt like I moved into a quiet area. I lived on West Florissant where the quick trip got burned down. I wasn’t expecting this when i moved here,” said Todd Johnson, who lives in Riverview.

“It’s getting closer and closer to home, all this violence & stuff going on. It’s a lot of shootings,” said Dessiree Kenku, who has lived in the area for 8 years.

Police said they have not had any major shootings like Sunday's for about six months, but that is no comfort to some people who live in the Riverview area.
