ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Police have identified a man who was shot and killed in north St. Louis Monday night.

Timothy J. Roberts, 37, was killed when he was shot in the 8600 block of Riverview around 9:30 p.m.

According to police, Roberts was found lying next to his vehicle in a vacant parking lot. Police say Roberts sustained gunshot wounds to the torso and forearm.

Police say Roberts was pronounced dead at the scene.

Roberts was one of seven people who were shot during separate incidents during a violent 12 hours in St. Louis.
