Police describe the suspect as a black male, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8, medium complexion, thin build who was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Roughly 20 minutes later, authorities found Timothy J. Roberts, 37, dead in the 8600 block of Riverview. Police say Roberts was shot in the torso and forearm, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

About an hour after the Riverview and McLaran shooting, a 34-year-old man was shot in the head in the 5300 block of North Kingshighway. Authorities say the man is listed in critical, unstable condition.
