St. Charles police arrest suspect in 2 gas station robberies

ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOV.com) – St. Charles police arrested a man wanted in connection with two robberies at gas stations.
Police arrested Christopher Roy of St. Peters in reference to those robberies.
According to a press release both robberies happened Saturday. The first robbery occurred at the Petro Mart at 2240 N. Third Street around 2:40 a.m. The second robbery happened at the BP station at 1990 Zumbehl Road around 9:20 p.m.
Police say their investigation revealed that in both instances, a man told the store clerk he had a knife, demanded money and threatened the clerk.
Police say no injuries were reported and the suspect fled both scenes with an undisclosed amount of money. Officials say the suspect was scene getting into a red four-door sedan.
