CLAYTON, MO (KMOV.com) – Protesters met in Clayton on Saturday to demand the arrest of Ferguson Officer Darren Wilson.
“He’s still walking the streets and getting paid,” said Zaki Baruti, a protester who attended the event. “People are continuously outraged and this is a continuation of the outrage.”
The group met outside the St. Louis County Justice Center and family members of Mike Brown say they won’t stop until Wilson is arrested.
The main message the crowd was trying to communicate was arresting Wilson immediately, instead of waiting for the Grand Jury to decide whether or not Wilson will be indicted.
Organizers say the next protest will be held during the next county council meeting.
