FLORISSANT, Mo. (KMOV) -- The St. Louis city dive team removed a vehicle found in the Missouri River at Sioux Passage Park in Florrisant Wednesday.
Officers tell News4 that a person in the park saw an antenna sticking out of the water and called police. Police and emergency fire crews were already on the scene when the dive team arrived.
North Central Fire officials say a call came out around 10 a.m. for an unknown vehicle found in the water near a boat dock at the Sioux Passage Park.
Fire and dive crews determined there was no body inside the vehicle and a tow truck pulled the vehicle out of the water. The scene was cleared at 1:30 p.m.
It's unclear at this time how long the car had been submerged.
