ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A southwestern Illinois woman has admitted stealing more than $100,000 from the credit union where she had worked.
Jamie Askew, 36, of Troy, Missouri has pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in St. Louis to one count of embezzlement.
Authorities say Askew admits taking nearly $105,000 from St. Louis Community Credit Union between mid-2009 and May of this year.
Askew, who was indicted in August, is to be sentenced March 20.
The felony is punishable by up to 30 years in prison.
