(KMOV.com) – Police are investigating after a 4-year-old boy was grazed by a bullet in a drive-by shooting in north St. Louis Wednesday.
Police say the boy was in a car with his mother and two men near the intersection of Anderson and Newstead when someone in another vehicle opened fire.
Authorities say a bullet grazed the head of the boy.
The victims' vehicle stopped near the intersection of Lee and Dryden and the two men inside got out and took off. The boy and his mother ran to a nearby home. The child was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police believe the shooter's car, described as a dark-colored four-door vehicle, contained three or four men.
The investigation is ongoing.
