Police say officers arrived on scene and spotted the suspects leaving the store after robbing it.

Authorities say police attempted to apprehend the men, but one of them struggled to break loose. That suspect then pulled out a gun and was shot by police.

He was transported to the hospital, but later died. The other suspect was apprehended and put into the back of a police vehicle.

A witness told News 4 16 police vehicles and 30 officers were on the scene at one point.
