Digital Content Manager
Job Summary: Identifies, organizes, & assigns posting duties for web and mobile. Write stories for the web and mobile. Works with news team to help gather news for on-air and online. Collaborates with News Managers on special event coverage and strategic initiatives
Oversees web staff development and guides general newsroom staff in their web contributions
Assists with maintaining social networking efforts
Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.
Three to five years in a major market newsroom. Internet content, mobile management is required.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong editorial skills.
Working knowledge of digital technologies.
Newsroom computer skills.
