(KMOV) – Two suspects face felony charges for allegedly robbing a woman outside a Belleville convenience store on Wednesday.

Patrick Holmes Jr., 21, and Clifton Robbins, 22, were each charged with two counts of armed robbery and one count of robbery.

According to police, a 44-year-old woman was walking home from the MotoMart located near Carlyle and Bunker Hill around 1 a.m. when she noticed Holmes Jr. and Robbins following her.

Police say both men punched the woman and she fell to the ground, suffering injuries. The suspects, who displayed weapon, then took an unknown amount of money and fled.

Authorities say an investigation led them to Holmes Jr. and Robbins, who both remain in custody on a $75,000 bond.
