(KMOV.com) – Several organizations will be hosting job fairs in the St. Louis area Monday and Tuesday.
Monday, Embassy Suites is holding a job fair to find potential candidates to work for the hotel chain. The company said it is searching for front desk agents, shuttle drivers, cooks, restaurant servers, and for people to work in housekeeping and maintenance.
The event is being held until 8 p.m. at the Embassy Suites St. Louis Airport, which is located at 11237 Lone Eagle Drive in Bridgeton. It is free, and attendees are asked to bring a resume, cover letter, and a list of three references. For more information, click here.
Another job fair is being held Monday at the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Center in East St. Louis from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
On Tuesday, the Chamber of Commerce will hosting a job fair for military veterans. The seminar entitled “Hiring our Heroes-St. Louis,” will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Machinists Hall in Bridgeton which is located at 12365 St. Charles Rock Road..
The Chamber said more than 65 companies and employers will be on hand. There will also be a workshop to help attendees with their resume and interview techniques.
The organization Beyond Housing will also be holding a job fair Tuesday. The event will be taking place at the St. Vincent Park Community Center from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 7335 St. Charles Rock Road in Greendale. For more information on this job fair, click here.
