Former employee accused of stealing from Ballpark Village, selling items online

(KMOV.com) – The former Director of Entertainment at Ballpark Village is facing charges after he allegedly stole items from the downtown St. Louis attraction and sold them on eBay.
Damon Oliver, 42, is charged with three counts of felony theft. Oliver allegedly stole keyboard mixers, speakers, and microphones from Ballpark Village before selling them on eBay.
Oliver was responsible for booking talent, handling production needs of live bands, and overseeing maintenance of AV equipment. After Oliver was charged, Ballpark Village released the following statement:
“We acknowledge the arrest of former Ballpark Village employee Damon Oliver on charges of stealing company property and selling it for personal gain. The police are handling this situation and Mr. Oliver is no longer employed at Ballpark Village.”
All of the stolen items are valued at $500 or more.
