(KMOV.com) – Students who are part of an international business club at Fontbonne University are working with Ferguson businesses to build a business plan after unrest.
Several students on working on a plan with the Ferguson Burger Bar on West Florissant. The students’ faculty advisor said students hope to help other North County businesses in the future.
“We hope, given the success that we’re going to have with this organization that we are going on and try to help out some of the other businesses. Certainly our students will have gained some experience by that point and will have some knowledge of the area, the demographics, and the entire environment of Ferguson besides what we see on TV, and what we know and read about,” said Mark Alexander with Fontbonne University.
The Ferguson Burger Bar opened the day before Michael Brown was shot. It has stayed open despite the unrest.
