ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – In light of the cold weather coming into the area, St. Louis City and County will both open their respective warming centers Sunday evening.
The City of St. Louis will open its Emergency Cold Weather Overflow Shelter at 7 p.m. Sunday and remain open until 7 a.m. on Monday. The shelter is at the 12th and Park Recreation Center at 1410 S. Tucker Boulevard and will offer hot meals and a warm place to sleep.
In St. Louis County, the warming shelter is in the St. Vincent Community Center will be open between the hours of 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday. The center is located at 7335 St. Charles Rock Road in North County.
