BELLEVILLE, Ill. (KMOV.com) -- Charges have been filed against two suspects who allegedly stole several purses from Walmart customers.
Both 36-year-old Lori J. Vannoy of Belleville and 40-year-old Michael French of Fairview Heights were charged with multiple counts of theft.
Vannoy faces one felony theft charge and four counts of Theft under $500, a misdemeanor. French was charged with five felony counts of Subsequent Offense theft.
The Belleville, Swansea, O'Fallon and Southwestern Illinois College Police departments all participated in the investigation and arrests of the suspects.
Vannoy and French are being held on $30,000 bond at the St. Clair County Jail.
