GRANITE CITY, Ill. (KMOV) -- Police in Granite City continue to post videos of red light runners on their Facebook page.
The problematic intersection is at Madison and 27th, which has been a site where dozens of accidents were taking place each year.
The camera caught more close calls.
Two more occasions were captured of a driver gliding through a red light; one showing a truck whip to the right of a car sitting at the light, then the driver of a sedan runs a red light as another driver makes a left-hand turn.
All the drivers in the videos were fined $100.
Granite City police report that the cameras have cut the number of accidents down dramatically. Only five have occurred in the last four years.
