ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – The St. Louis Board of Aldermen will hold its regularly scheduled meeting days after a scuffle erupted at City Hall.
Lewis Reed, the president of the board, says the Aldermen hope to move forward following Wednesday's scuffle by having additional public hearings regarding the Citizen Review Board, which they do for any board issue.
Aldermen Terry Kennedy says they have to hold another public meeting on the Citizen Review Board before the issue can go in front of the full board.
“You always hope cooler heads will prevail,” Reed told News 4. “In those cases where it doesn’t seem possible we have to build a framework to assure that those things will happen.”
Friday's meeting will take place at 10:00 a.m.
