BEVERLY HILLS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Right outside of the Beverly Hills Police Department, the police chief's car was set on fire. Some believe someone is trying to send a message to the chief.
The case is being investigated by the St. Louis County Police's Bomb and Arson Unit, who is trying to determine a motive and who would set the squad car on fire.
"I just came into work and I heard his car had caught on fire," said Latisha Sherer, who works at a business in the same building as the police station. "It's just weird that a car would be set on fire at a police station."
News 4's Jasmine Huda spoke with Beverly Hills Police Chief John Buchannan, who said no one was injured and that the car will have to be replaced.
