Police: Pursuit ends in crash, suspects in custody

FLORISSANT, Mo (KMOV.com) – Two suspects are in custody after a police pursuit ended in a crash late Wednesday night.

A Florissant Police Officer responded to a disturbance call at Florissant Food and Liquor, located in the 1900 block of Washington Street, around 10:30 p.m.

According to police, the two suspects, identified as Lamontae Oliver and Charles Armstrong Thursday afternoon, brandished weapons towards victims before taking off in a white car.

An officer then followed the suspects closely before the driver of the suspect's vehicle drove off the road in an attempt to escape, crashing the vehicle.

Florissant police say both subjects are in custody. They also discovered the vehicle the suspects were in was stolen.

 Oliver was charged with Assault 2nd Degree on Law Enforcement, Tampering 1st Degree, and Resisting Arrest.  Armstrong was charged with Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Resisting Arrest.
