ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Police said a suspect was arrested after a chase and crash in south St. Louis Wednesday night.
According to police, the crash occurred at the intersection of Shenandoah and Jefferson around 7:30 p.m. Police told News 4 they tried to pull over a Monte Carlo that was driving erratically, but the driver kept going at a high rate of speed. The Monte Carlo then hit a jeep at the intersection of Jefferson and Shenandoah.
Witnesses said the Monte Carlo ran through the light at the intersection, hit the jeep, caught fire, and then went into a home. Two people were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Nobody inside the home was injured.
The investigation is ongoing.
