COLLINSVILLE, Ill. (KMOV.com) – One of two suspects wanted for a robbery of a Collinsville Arby’s store in 2012 was charged Tuesday.
Police said that on June 29, 2012 a female employee of the restaurant on Eastport Plaza Drive was overpowered by two suspects and tied up at the rear door of the business. The female employee told police that the two suspects stole an undisclosed amount of cash along with her cellphone and the business phone.
The employee was able to free herself and went to a neighboring business for help.
On Tuesday, Jimmie Fritschle, 22, of St. Louis, was charged with one count of robbery and one count of unlawful restraint. The search for a second suspect is ongoing. Police said Fritschle was already in custody in St. Louis on unrelated charges.
