Suspects wearing Halloween masks rob Spanish Lake auto parts store

SPANISH LAKE, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Police are searching for two men accused showing semi-automatic handguns while robbing a Spanish Lake auto parts store.

The suspects were wearing Halloween masks and gloves when they entered the O’Reilly Auto Parts store, located in the 12100 block of Bellefontaine Road, at 8:30 Tuesday night.

The suspects demanded the store clerk give them money from the cash register and safe.  It is unknown how much money the suspects took from the store.

The suspects left the scene traveling in an unknown direction.

Authorities describe one of the suspects as 6-foot tall with an average build. Police say the suspect was wearing a gorilla Halloween mask and brown work gloves at the time of the robbery.

The second suspect is described as being roughly 5-foot-10 and 200 pounds. Police say the suspect was wearing a tan Halloween mask and brown working globes at the time of the robbery.

The investigation is ongoing.
