ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com)- A press release Tuesday announced that County Executive Steve Ehlmann has appointed Hope Woodson as Director of the St. Charles County Department of Community Health and the Environment.
The appointment was confirmed Monday night by the County Council.
Woodson came to St. Charles County Department of Community Health and the Environment in 2002 and served as the Public Health Emergency Response Planner.
According to the release, Woodson implemented the first adult immunization program and developed numerous policies and procedures to improve efficiency and operations.
Woodson also served as an Adjunct Professor for St. Louis University's School of Public Health and is a graduate of the Public Health Leadership Institute, FOCUS St. Louis, Vision St. Charles County and Heartland Centers for Public Health Development.
