(KMOV.com) - Police said the bank robber known as the "Scarf Face Bandit" has turned himself in.
Authorities believe the man is responsible for three bank robberies in south St. Louis. He allegedly robbed the US Bank at 3881 Gravois and the Commerce Bank at 6327. Police believe he robbed the Commerce Bank twice.
Police said he decided to turn himself in after seeing his photo broadcast on the news.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- St Louis police asked for the public's help in identifying a man believed to be responsible for three bank robberies.
Police said the man pictured above is wanted for robbing the U.S. Bank at 3881 Gravois Thursday and the Commerce Bank at 6327 Chippewa twice last week. In both of these robberies, the subject displayed a note announcing the robbery.
Police said the photo was taken at another bank that the man was in Thursday but did not rob.
