JEFFERSON COUNTY (KMOV) -- A Poplar Bluff man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for sexually abusing an 8-year-old Jefferson County girl.

Between June 19 and Aug. 9, 2012, prosecutors say Samuel Anguiano Gonzales, 49, had sexual contact with the girl at her home and filmed the incidents.

Gonzales pleaded guilty to statutory sodomy, abuse of a child and sexual exploitation of a minor. On Jan. 6, Gonzales was sentenced by the Jefferson County Division 1 Circuit Judge Robert G. Wilkins to three 15-year concurrent terms.

In addition, Gonzales will serve a 50-year prison term he was sentenced to in February 2014 by the U.S. District Court, Eastern District.

In that case, Gonzales was convicted of production of child pornography and attempted receipt of child pornography stemming from incidents that occurred between January 2011 and January 2013.
