ST. LOUIS, Mo (KMOV.com) – A 50-year-old woman listed in critical, but stable condition after being shot in north St. Louis late Thursday night.
Authorities say they responded to a call around 10:30 p.m. near the corner of Natural Bridge Avenue and Euclid Avenue. When police arrived, they found the victim unconscious in the driver’s seat of a vehicle.
Police say the woman had numerous gunshot wounds to back and was taken to a nearby hospital.
A witness told police a burgundy vehicle stopped behind the victim’s vehicle and unknown passengers exited it and fired several shots into the rear of the victim’s car.
The suspect vehicle fled north on Euclid.
Authorities say they are looking for a small sedan. St. Louis Police believe there are three suspects involved in the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing.
