Call Colombo: Post-Dispatch attempts to address complaints over unwanted fee

(KMOV.com) – The Post-Dispatch spoke to News 4 to clear up whether customers can eliminate a charge for a service they are not using.

The paper spoke with News 4’s Mike Colombo after several subscribers complained that they were being a charged a digital fee even though they do not read the paper online.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Some customers of the St. Louis Post Dispatch are cancelling their subscriptions; they claim they were forced to pay for a service they were not using.

This is not the first time Mike Colombo has heard this complaint.

A few months ago, a woman told us the post wouldn't waive the digital fee for her either, even though she doesn't even own a computer! Like our most-recent complaint, Gary, - she cancelled her subscription.
