(FootballStL) -- Rams tackle Rodger Saffold could miss up to 2 weeks after dislocating his left shoulder in Thursday's preseason opener against the Cleveland Browns. Saffold left the stadium with his arm in a sling, after getting injured on the second play of the Rams first offensive series. "We're still doing tests. He's a little sore, “said Head Coach Jeff Fisher. Saffold left the game after getting hurt on the second play of the Rams' first offensive series in the team's 27-19 loss to the Browns.
Saffold fell to the ground after trying to block outside linebacker Paul Kruger on a pass play . Saffold made the switch to the right side of the line this season after the Rams signed four-time Pro Bowler Jake Long from Miami in the offseason to play left tackle. Saffold has been plagued by injury problems over the last couple of seasons. The 4-year veteran started all 16 games as a rookie but played only 9 games in 2011-and 10 games in 2012.
