(KMOV.com) -- Monday night, Missouri state education leaders told News 4 they are holding off any decisions about the future of the floundering Normandy School District.
As of 10 p.m., the state was rolling through Normandy’s plans to make layoffs and its decision to close Bel Nor Elementary. Both moves were forced by a very tight budget.
A second round of meetings is scheduled for early December. Any decisions the state makes from mid-November on will not be released until 2014.
