(KMOV) – Three men face charges after allegedly robbing a Washington, Mo. gas station in September.
Cornelius Balch, 20, was charged Tuesday with first-degree robbery after police say he and two others robbed the Fas-Trip BP gas station at Highway 47 and Fifth St. on Sept. 17.
According to authorities, two masked suspects entered the Fas-Trip Service Station located on 904 East 5th Street armed with a knife and demanded cash.
The suspects fled the scene across 5th Street and through the hospital parking lot, police said.
Police say Balch was arrested in Warren County on Monday and detained until the charge was issued.
Jacob Matthew Sanor, 18, was also charged Tuesday with first-degree robbery and stealing under $500.
According to Washington police, the three suspects are friends and worked together on both robberies.
Authorities say they expected charges to be filed soon against another suspect in the BP robbery and a third suspect for a robbery at a Phillips 66 station on Sept. 14.
A judge set bond for Balch at $100,000 cash-only.
Bond for Sanor was set at $75,000 cash-only.
